Custom front entry door
In the Spring of 2018 I designed, built and installed this custom entry door for a house being built in Anchorage, AK. It is made of cherry and Alaskan birch and is insulated with 1-1/2″ of rigid foam board, making the door a total of 3″ thick. It is designed to handle the extreme Alaskan winters where there can occasionally be close to a 100º temperature difference between the inside and outside and humidity of very high in the summer and very low in the winter. It is hung with 3 heavy duty 4-1/2″ ball bearing hinges for a very smooth swing.

I like these kinds of the front entrance.
MWedekind, if you're still on here i'd like to ask a few questions about this awning if possible!
