Our kitchen window was getting chipped and split from being near the sink. The stool needed changing. I checked into making it out of corean. This made sense because it would match the counter top. I decided to use a scrap of 5/4 Boral exterior trim. The Boral exterior trim has been working so well for me on the outside of my jobs that I knew that it would look good inside as a window stool.
