When building cabinets, handling plywood can be a chore. I used to pick up each sheet and muscle it onto the table saw. It dawned on me one day my wheeled trashcan is fairly stable with a sheet of 3/4 inch plywood on top. I just needed to gain a little more height for use supporting a cut on the table saw. I routed out a 3/4 inch channel in a 2×4 for the plywood panel to be inserted in the 2×4 frame. You will need to measure the height of your table saw to find the right placement of the channel. (I made my finish height of the trashcan plus support 1/4 inch higher than the table saw.) Screw the frame together after inserting a 3/4 inch plywood panel in the frame. Fit the frame over the trashcan and now the sheets glide effortlessly from the truck to the table saw.
