How to Make a Straight Cut When Cutting a Stone Threshold on a Tile Saw
I had to saw a piece off of a shower threshold using a tile saw. By using two wood strips, sandwiching the threshold, I was able to cut a straight line because the bottom strip acted as a fence as it slid along the side of the saw table. Plus, both wood strips prevented the clamps from damaging the threshold. Be sure to use a straight wood strip for the bottom piece for an accurate cut.
