I was tired of losing short pencils and nail sets down the long pockets of my work apron and tools bags. My simple solution was to stuff a little piece of 3/8” caulk backing down the pencil pouches. Not only does it keep things easy to reach, but the foam also protects the tips of my pencils. Another benefit is that the soft foam holds nail sets and drill punches in place when I bend over.
