The driver for this project was to create accessibility for our clients who have chosen to age in place in their home, rather than moving to something that was already accessible. To meet these needs, we added an elevator, rebuilt the 3-story staircase to meet code and safety requirements, and did away with some sunken rooms that were problematic from a mobility standpoint.
