The main challenge of this project was designing a new modern house on the foundation of a traditional four-square home while creating a space that can be flexible, feel quiet and intimate or accommodate a boisterous gathering of friends and family.
The master bath is located on the second floor, where the floor area is limited. To save space, the master bath was designed to be as efficient as possible while catering to the clients’ needs. The homeowners have a fun and sophisticated style and wanted all the details to express that style. So, they found an antique mid-century modern buffet table that they converted into a vanity, giving the space an original element.
