Working in renovations, I often find myself stuck with one laser and needing to switch between multiple planes. One can quickly hang magnetic laser levels on old sawblades or steel nail plates, eschewing the limitations of the manufacturer’s hanger. Making a hash mark close to the sawblade or nail plate allows for quick repositioning of the laser level, useful for double-checking and honing layouts, framing, and so on.
