It's a shame to be losing all the character seen in the "old" house.
Too bad it won't be updated but keep that character; I see a beautiful house there.
Agreed. Beautiful older home will be essentially demoed to make room for a new house. Why not just build a new house. For what I have to imagine would be not that much more money, you would have two houses rather than just one.
Totally agreeing with comment 1 & 2! This is just a case of people with too much money and no sense of appreciation for an already beautiful building. Find another location and build what you want without destroying this one.
