Several manufacturers offer do-it-yourself spray foam kits that typically consist of two tanks in box, a spray nozzle and hose. These units are intended for smaller applications like spot air sealing or insulating rim joints.
But a chief complaint from users is that the standard DIY units suffer from inconsistent and weak pressure, which can be awkward on the job.
Here in Las Vegas at the International Builders’ Show, spray foam manufacturer Touch n’ Seal was showing off an advanced portable unit for around $3,000 that promises to be a great buy for contractors who want to get into weatherization and insulation work without a huge investment.
The Constant Pressure Dispensing System (CPDS) features improvements over the typical DIY system include the addition of a compressor, which gives it a consistent spray on par with large-scale insulation contractor rigs, which typically show up on site in a trailer.
Though it’s larger than standard DIY kits, the rig from Touch n’ Seal is still portable enough to maneuver through doorways and up stairs. We tried out the rig in Touch n’ Seal’s booth and our first impression was positive.
Also, to its benefit, the company said it doesn’t require certification to operate unlike some other similar units on display at the show.

I am interested in a set up like this.
It has been over a week now. I've called the Touch-n-Seal 800-number. They gave me a phone number for my regional rep. I called his number, left him a message, and still haven't had a call back. Do I need to chase a salesperson down to win the privilege of spending money?

Thank You,
Your representative contacted me, and pointed me to the right distributors for my area.
