Sanding and Touch Ups: After the glaze and sealer are dry, nail holes are filled, blemishes in the glaze coat are touched up, and the entire door is lightly sanded to give it tooth for the first coat of varnish.

I appreciate the commitment, but what rational person would do this, or spend the money purchasing the supplies to try and do this?
